Why Change?

Shorefields Technology College and Matthew Arnold Primary School are consulting on a proposal to acquire a Trust and become Trust Schools. This will enable both schools to strengthen the present partnership agreement between the Schools to improve the future prospects for the young people and families, as well as benefiting the wider community.

The Trust will be known as South Liverpool Education Trust, and the proposed partners, who will set up the Trust, include:

• Barclays
• Mouchel
• Liverpool University
• The Open the Door Theatre in Education
• Plus Dane
• Anthony Walker Foundation
